When reporting this package as outdated make sure there is indeed a new version for Linux Desktop. You can have a look at the "Stable updates" tag in Release blog for this.

You can also run this command to obtain the version string for the latest chrome version:

$ curl -sSf https://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/dists/stable/main/binary-amd64/Packages | \
     grep -A1 "Package: google-chrome-stable" | \
     awk '/Version/{print $2}' | \
     cut -d '-' -f1

Do not report updates for ChromeOS, Android or other platforms stable versions as updates here.

@carukia, and I know it. See: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/27263, https://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail/aur-general/2012-November/020859.html

@ryanpcmcquen I think only the maintainer can remove it.

Oops, accidentally flagged this out of date! Does anyone know how to remove the flag?

for those who suffer from sound glitches when playing flash videos they should launch google-chrome with this parameter --audio-buffer-size=2048 $ google-chrome --audio-buffer-size=2048 this issue comes from upstream https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=224046 and it affects v26 and v27 beta

Processes are still remaining into memory. Shame...
