Fcitx can't input Chinese on Chrome with GTK3(HiDPI) environment.
Finally, I find the solution.
First, moidfy /usr/bin/google-chrome-stable, add "export GDK_SCALE=1" before "exec /opt/google/chrome/google-chrome... ..."
Second, touch a new file "~/.config/chrome-flags.conf" if not exist, add "--force-device-scale-factor=2" as parameters.

Sort of. Only advantage is, I get the out-of-date flags quicker.
I can add it to the PKGBUILD tho. So far it's only in -dev: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=google-chrome-dev

Instead of the "current" URL, wouldn't it be better to download the specific version from the apt-get repository?
source=("https://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/pool/main/g/google-chrome-${_channel}/google-chrome-${_channel}_${pkgver}-1_amd64.deb"
(I had to use this when temporarily downgrading to v59.)

Because this is the repository for super nerd Archers who build almost each of these packages themselves, causing so much makedependency overlap that we've had to create a whole entire group just for that.
We call it the base-devel. It includes 25 of the most common build-time dependencies (24 + pacman), and with that in mind, we don't have to include any of those packages in our PKGBUILDs; we assume you already have the whole thing:
- https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Creating_packages#Preparation
- https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Makepkg#Usage
- https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository#Prerequisites
This is also discoverable by clicking the *All comments* and Ctrl+F'ing the "fakeroot".

/usr/bin/makepkg: line 170: fakeroot: command not found
==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build google-chrome.
==> Restart building google-chrome ? [y/N]
Why fakeroot is not a dependency???
I just installed manjaro gnome flavor

Noting here for others: I had an issue where manually installed microsoft fonts were causing 'aw snap' crashes.
It seems like the crashes only started with 59 as I didn't have the same crashes before that. Also, the 'aw snap' crashes occurred independent of my using stable/beta/dev channels installed via aur.

If you have CompositorTileW problem, try to remove font 'opendesktop-fonts'.

@TID91: isolate which versions are breaking, and report to the Chromium project?
I doubt that has anything to do with the way Chrome is packaged for Arch (but I could be wrong).

When reporting this package as outdated make sure there is indeed a new version for Linux Desktop. You can have a look at the "Stable updates" tag in Release blog for this.
You can also run this command to obtain the version string for the latest chrome version:
Do not report updates for ChromeOS, Android or other platforms stable versions as updates here.
