I am noticing that youtube videos are playing but I am getting a blank screen.

Since pacman introduced hooks, running update-desktop-database from the .install file is no longer necessary.

I ran the makepkg but everything worked ok. I'm using the same kernel version. It is associated with the sandbox. The only help I found was to use the --no-sandbox flag. But that seems an insecure route.

4.5.3 but I was having the same issue on 4.5.2

What kernel version are you running?

I'm getting this when I try to run "google-chrome-stable"
[1:1:0512/102613:ERROR:nacl_fork_delegate_linux.cc(315)] Bad NaCl helper startup ack (0 bytes)

Fixed? Updated? Yes, when I get home. Use 'SKIP' in the md5sums, or build with: $ makepkg (-si) --skipinteg

Will it be fixed in the near future?
Need the stable version of Google Chrome.

When reporting this package as outdated make sure there is indeed a new version for Linux Desktop. You can have a look at the "Stable updates" tag in Release blog for this.
You can also run this command to obtain the version string for the latest chrome version:
Do not report updates for ChromeOS, Android or other platforms stable versions as updates here.
