Thanks, unfortunate timing then.

For reference, with Gnome shell / wayland I need to

unset QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME
unset QT_QPA_PLATFORM

to avoid

Google Earth has caught signal 6.

Well, installing a license, even with a bad md5sum, doesn't do squat to the actual application so you're kind of free to install it even if it doesn't match. The problem is that you're downloading it from a different server, which gives you a different license than mine. I've included the license in both packages for now. You mind uploading yours and telling me the country you're getting it from?

bananabrain commented on 2013-01-19 02:26 (UTC)

It matches just fine? License md5 in PKGBUILD for v6 and v7 says 7363c6144ebb298b1d7aec713ca8a82a I get d414602116908d737207d905cff261b2 no matter how many times I download it. I could edit your script, but I'd rather you told me the error of my ways...

Try to keep comments about separate packages in their equilevant pages. As to what comes to your error, just redownload the license. It matches just fine.

Install failed with "Validating source files with md5sums... googleearth_6.2.2.6613-r0_amd64.deb ... Passed license.html ... FAILED google-earth6-mimetypes.xml ... Passed ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!"
