I've had this package for months (maybe even a year now) _without problems_

The md5sum check fails when building the package with makepkg -s. Is this expected?

Confirming problem that Dragetz mentions. My google earth with intel graphics locks xserver when zooming in to the surface. Downgrading packages works as mentioned as well.

I think you do.

Does anybody have problem with new mesa 8.0 on intel graphics. It causes segmentation fault somewhere in X. It locks up Xsever and Xserver stops processing events. So I have to do hard reset or ssh from another machine and restart Xserver. It's works at first i can rotate the globe, but when i try to zoom in everything freezes.
When i downgrade lib32-intel-dri lib32-libgl to 7.11 version everything seems to be OK.

Since some days (maybe since the last update of the nvidia drivers?) I noticed Google Earth to be veeeeery slow. After calling "google-earth" in terminal it takes 4-5 minutes to show the whole earth clean and sharp. After loading this start position it remains unusable, it takes again several minutes to show one of "my places" or something like that. While it runs, it uses 100% cpu. No changes to any configuration has been made before this.
Anybody here who has the same problem?

2 things. First off, I don't think I've actually ever seen anybody trying to use 'locate' when searching for a package in the repos. You look for a package, you use the package manager: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Pacman
Secondly, 'nouveau-dri', along with all the other *-dri stuff, is mentioned as an optional dependency. If not right after the installation, then at least have a look at those when your application doesn't even start up.

I will not update (for now) to the latest version 7.3.6.9326 because it crashes continuously for me.

Thanks, unfortunate timing then.
For reference, with Gnome shell / wayland I need to
to avoid
