I can install and play games OK with this, but I had to do some manual symlinking in order for it to find libretro cores. GNOME Games expects cores to be under /usr/lib/retro-1.0/plugins, but current arch libretro core packages install them under /usr/lib/libretro/. Also, the naming does not match. For example, the bsnes cores are named bsnes_*_libretro.so, while GNOME Games expects libretro-snes.so. Am I missing something, like a symlink package, or is that some bleeding edge issue (i.e. should I look for retro-gtk-git or libretro-bsnes-git, etc.)? Thanks for your efforts!

Could you add 'libretro-mgba-git' as an optional dependency for Gameboy Advance games, please? Thanks :)

Is there anyone else that can't install gnome-games-git at all? The name `ModuleQuery` does not exist in the context of `Retro`

You can remove the install file btw.

Now master is https://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-games/

@TingPing It seems you were right; installing Tracker and calling `tracker daemon --start' seems to have fixed it. Perhaps Tracker should be listed as a dependency?

TingPing commented on 2015-11-09 20:27 (UTC)

@ekaljuk I also have issues finding sfc files, in theory they are tracked in folders set in `tracker-preferences`. If that doesn't work try talking to upstream.
