I know java 7 is available. I was referring to ipscan source code changing language level to 8.

I have not tested ipscan with 7 but I would expect some kind of issue if the runtime is set to java 7 while running an app expecting level 8.

hi fhdk, openjdk 7 is still in extra.

linux-aarhus commented on 2019-09-22 09:09 (UTC)

It would be a good idea to change depends=('java-runtime>=7') to >=8 as the java 7 support was dropped 2 months ago.

Hi Singularity, I didn't really notice... updated w/o rel bump. Thanks for reporting.

The given upstream url forwards to angryip.org, and the github repo is also redirected to another. Maybe a good idea to switch to the new urls in the pkgbuild.

hi to you too z3ntu. thanks for reporting. it's an old pkg that i simply bump. 1) what does it change in a java jar? absolutely nothing. 2) done 3) done 4) done

1. This package should be built from source and not from pre-built jar files. 2. The empty build() function can be removed. 3. All " || return 1" can be removed 4. The source array doesn't need backslashes (\)
