Installed libvdpau-va-gl, "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" still occurs. I see it happening when changing music, but I'm not sure if only here.

Edit: This happened after a recent arch system update, as a2sc described.

SegFaults occur since a recent system update. Installing libvdpau-va-gl helps

@valapeos

You should install the base-devel package group when building AUR packages - they won't necessarily be in a package's makedepends.

I got

CMake Error: CMake was unable to find a build program corresponding to "Unix Makefiles".
CMAKE_MAKE_PROGRAM is not set. You probably need to select a different build tool

on Manjaro, which I solved by installing make which for some reason wasn't installed.

I don't think this package should be flagged as outdated. To me it looks to be tracking the upstream stable releases. Can you confirm that @nvllsvm?

Needs python in makedepends.

Need python for build, seems related to : https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/41960

I got an error when installing using makepkg -sci.

error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
jellyfin-media-player: /usr/resources/qtwebengine_devtools_resources.pak exists in filesystem (owned by plex-media-player)

Using sudo pacman -U --overwrite "/usr/resources/qwebengine_devtools_resources.pak" <makepkg result> I was able to circumvent the issue, but I feel like this isn't a great solution for having both plex-media-player and jellyfin-media-player installed on the same system.

I was just wondering someone else is encountering the same issue I'm having, specifically this one. They say it used to be an issue with package, but its been fixed(?). However I still have this issue, and I also followed in their footsteps and found the font icons themselves and they render fine in my system's font viewer!

This is great, but I wish it would do idle inhibiting! My screen locks every few minutes right when I'm getting into a movie! I'll check upstream to see if this is a known issue or if we need to do something here.
