Also some of the dependencies can be removed from MC27, e.g. the webkit2gtk stuff and the gstreamer (plus gst-* plugins) stuff.

As 26.082 now works beautifully with my AMD R7 APU on debian and opensuse distros, I went ahead and deb-tapped .082 for my Arch install. libgl1-mesa-glx came up as an resolvable dependecy, so I borrowed that from debian as well. The install when smoothly afterward.

Yes, now license registration is working

This is likely fixed in 26.0.16 that was just released.

JRWeb: error while loading shared libraries: libcef.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory ipc server no longer running
It seems that cef is missing, but also on the original deb package dependencies list

@Awesome_Donkey I have problems in registering the product with my key: "there is a problem communicating with the license server" UPnP not working, I cannot find mediacenter from another computer.

IMO, due to the upgrade cost between major versions, it might be best to add new JMC versions to their own specific package, e.g. jriver-media-center24
