I don't think packagekit-qt6 is optional, the menu in settings throws an error if it's missing

Could not load plugin from /usr/lib/qt6/plugins/plasma/kcms/systemsettings_qwidgets/kcm_grub2.so: Cannot load library /usr/lib/qt6/plugins/plasma/kcms/systemsettings_qwidgets/kcm_grub2.so: libpackagekitqt6.so.1: не вдалося відкрити файл об’єктів спільного використання: Немає такого файла або каталогу (Can't open shared library: No such file or directory)

It appears that now packagekit-qt6 is a hard dependency? Trying to use the settings panel gives this error:

Could not load plugin from /usr/lib/qt6/plugins/plasma/kcms/systemsettings_qwidgets/kcm_grub2.so: Cannot load library /usr/lib/qt6/plugins/plasma/kcms/systemsettings_qwidgets/kcm_grub2.so: libpackagekitqt6.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Not ideal since using packagekit on arch is not a great idea.

I was getting a "undefined reference to `GetMagickStealth'" compilation error, this comment helped me fix it. https://github.com/maz-1/grub2-editor/issues/9

@kinoe

The upstream package still wasn't ported to KDE Frameworks 6.

kcm-grub2-git needs to be updated to reflect the changes to the naming of KDE packages:

Installing kcmutils5 (5.111.0-1) breaks "kcmutils" dependency, needed by kcm-grub2-git

Starcross commented on 2023-10-20 15:16 (UTC)

Prevents a system update today (10/20/23), "installing kcmutils5 (5.111.0-1) breaks dependency 'kcmutils' required by kcm-grub2-git". kcmutils is being renamed to kcmutils5, breaking kcm-grub2-git

This package actually compiles with the current imagemagick(7) package and from what I read, the API part, at least those used by this package, is compatible with version 6. I test wallpaper creation and assignment, they work fine as well. So...maybe drop libmagick6 dependency and replace it with imagemagick instead?
