@davispuh are you sure? It's also this way on the oficial repos, and running namcap on this package, after being compiled with ktextwidgets, doesn't warn about a superfluous dependency...

These dependency cycles are often unavoidable; to solve it, you'll just have to build this package without ktextwidgets, then build ktextwidgets, and finally, rebuild this (with ktextwidgets now installed).

You'll only have to do this bootstrap process the first time you're building these packages, or when there's a major feature update that breaks backwards compatibility.

KIO doesn't depend on KTextWidgets and this causes dependency loop because KTextWidgets => KParts => KIO

This package doesn't build anymore. It needs -DQT_MAJOR_VERSION=6 CMake option now to build.

@Deresiant that looks like a bug. Report it on https://bugs.kde.org/ But report with full stacktrace

$ KDE_DEBUG=1 dolphin
$ coredumpctl gdb dolphin
(gdb) thread apply all backtrace

Also I recommend rebuilding all latest -git packages so you're sure you don't have some old stuff laying around.

Anyone else's dolphin make kioslave5 from this package have an assert crash? I wasn't sure if it was on KDE's end though I've had this few months. (on both dolphin and dolphin-git

Hi @Elanzer,

Thank you for pointing this out, and especially for finding all of the packages that belong to the group!

I've just rectified this, except for the packages I don't currently manage (kwallet attica kcodecs solid sonnet).

Cheers :)

Can you remove groups=('kf5') from kde frameworks packages in AUR?

I don't know if you handle all other kde frameworks, but this line groups released frameworks with git. On unofficial repos this messes up updates.

I found all this packages are grouped in 'kf5':

kio kwallet kxmlgui kbookmarks attica karchive kauth kcodecs kcompletion kconfig kconfigwidgets kcoreaddons kcrash kdbusaddons kglobalaccel kguiaddons ki18n kiconthemes kitemviews kjobwidgets knotifications kservice ktextwidgets kwidgetsaddons kwindowsystem solid sonnet
