This is a -git package that always uses the latest commit.

• Do not flag for mere version bumps. The version is updated when the package is rebuilt.
• People using AUR helpers may have to manually trigger rebuilds.
• If having problems, try building in a clean chroot.

Comment for packaging issues. Errors during build or installation may be related to packaging. Avoid opening new upstream issues for packaging problems. If in doubt, ask here first.

Flag for common problems with standard solutions, like depends updates. Describe the reason and include relevant error messages in the flag.

the PKGBUILD for this package is broken, as i tried to build it using paru and makepkg on the main system, and then tried building in clean chroot and succeeded. I would be happy to provide the compiler's error messages during build if the maintainer is eager to fix it.

NOTE: the source package has been updates two weeks ago

@FreePenguin I've removed clang/lld from this package because I did not notice any difference from gcc/ld.

However, your flags look out of date. You should resync with .pacnew files.

Also, you should remove mold from your config. It hands off to ldd/ld for LTO, which is now enabled by default on Arch. So for majority of packages, mold won't really be used.

Can you remove custom build flags? They're conflicting with those I put in makepkg.conf causing it to fail to build. https://github.com/matinlotfali/KDE-Rounded-Corners/issues/238

@Barracuda Saw your edit about the corners issue. I am unable to reproduce it.

Thanks for this tool, exactly what i was looking for, works perfectly. EDIT : Corners stay rounded when maximized although i checked "Disable roundness on tile/maximize.

Thanks for that quick fix. I ended up building from source just for that, but things built from source are harder to keep updated.

@xiota we mean that if you build the effect from the repo manually as per the instructions in the README (https://github.com/matinlotfali/KDE-Rounded-Corners?tab=readme-ov-file#how-to-build-from-source-code) the effect works fine.

@kevadroz @queenbiscuit311 What do you mean by "build from source"?

I can confirm that the package is broken and causes kwin to crash-loop after the merge of https://github.com/matinlotfali/KDE-Rounded-Corners/pull/193, but build from source is fine.
