Added a patch for the file frei0r.c

hokum commented on 2010-11-28 09:57 (UTC)

yep, patch works! Please, update pkgbuild

hokum commented on 2010-11-28 08:57 (UTC)

So, does it means that 1.3.10 can not be build succesfully with current arch version of frei0r-plugins - 1.2.1-1 without that patch?

Hey I have an idea, why don't we ask the project developers ? LOL, no that would be too hard ! http://lives.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/lives/trunk/lives-plugins/weed-plugins/frei0r.c?r1=854&r2=895&view=patch ;-) Regards, Salsaman, main developer, LiVES

Thanks! I don't think it's that, though. The list of linked libraries in my version of lives 1.3.4 (the last one I got to compile) is the same, other than linking to linux-vdso.so.1 instead of linux-gate.so.1, which I understand to be irrelevant because they're both just virtual DSOs. So I don't think it's a missing dependency, unless maybe it's a build dependency or something. Otherwise, I link to /lib/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2, whereas I see you link to /lib/ld-linux.so.2. Is it possible that this is a 64-bit issue?

Of course, here it is: http://aur.pastebin.com/nBYtiFdb

encelo, can you run "ldd /usr/bin/lives" on your system with the latest version and tell us what you get? If there really is a dependency issue, that might help identify it.

I can compile the program without issues. Maybe I'm just missing a dependency in the depends array.
