The upstream project is currently unmaintained, see its README.md, but not abandonned for once (repo isn't archived, also see this comment on the issue tracker).

This package is currently not usable but in a kind of hibernation until a final decision about the upstream future is made.

@kfgz Confirmed and fixed. Thanks for the heads-up. @klundry For whatever reason I got aware of your comment after kfgz posted his only. Don't know whether I just missed the mail or something else went wrong (I'm relying on those notification mails and don't visit packages' pages on a regular basis without any reason.) That said I haven't got time to look into this not so essential issue right now. Will report back if I have, hopefully in the not too distant future.

qt5-svg is missing as a dependency. Without it package won't build.

The applet works fine for me but I have an issue with the icons not showing correctly in the tray or in the connection screen. I'm not sure if I'm missing a certain icon package or what. EDIT: I'm using 0.10. This is what it looks like. http://imgur.com/Tk6ZQBA http://imgur.com/pnuz7F7

Cannot confirm your findings. e90c62e installed via this package is working like a charm with LXQt 0.10 here, both in plugin-statusnotifier and plugin-tray and irrespective of whether the X session is launched from a virtual terminal or by SDDM. The only restriction is that I've got the release running in a VM only which can't connect by anything else than Ethernet. You may want to elaborate what exactly you're facing.

It's not working in 0.10 but that no problem as i have changed to lxqt-git version.

@ozky Yes, right now recent checkouts of LXQt ConnMan Applet do play nicely with LXQt release 0.10. I adjusted variable 'depends' in PKGBUILD accordingly as this allows for compiling the package on LXQt 0.10 as well as on LXQt VCS checkouts. Note that this may have to get reverted should the applet's code rely on liblxqt from VCS again one day.

ozky commented on 2015-11-04 08:23 (UTC)

Is this now ok to compile against 0.10 liblxqt as it's released ?.

OK, thanks:(

pmattern commented on 2015-08-28 08:29 (UTC)

@gothmog123 Not at all right now, unfortunately. The code is geared towards changes that were introduced in LXQt VCS recently, see https://github.com/surlykke/lxqt-connman-applet/issues/5 or https://github.com/surlykke/lxqt-connman-applet/issues/7. So to get it running with an LXQt release you'll have to wait for 0.10 which is wip.
