Is this on a new install? Is the cfg file present? Are you using makepkg or a helper? I cannot reproduce.

I'm having this issue as well..

Is there a ~/.config/modprobed-db.conf present? I just changed the name a few h ago depending on the version you're running,p. what if you build and install with makepkg not a helper?

There is no .config/modeprobed-db.conf since there is some error with the CFG_FILE variable. It's weird that if I replicate the commands in the modprobe-db script within my shell, that error doesn't occur...

Never saw that one before... did you install the Arch Linux package? Post to output of `cat ~/.config/modprobed_db.conf`

I am getting this error: Consult the man page for setup instructions. /usr/bin/modprobed_db: line 38: $CFG_FILE: ambiguous redirect ------------------------------------------------------------
