flipmess: I get them, too, and I think they are due to the newest update of the mesa infrastructure that came with the recent system update. I am currently testing whether adding --without-OSMesa to the configure options will fix this.

is it normal for octave to exit with signal 6 every time? i also get a lot of that while compiling: ... Thanks, aggraef, will follow your suggestion. divinesheet: I will not stop doing so. It would disturb my workflow immensely.

@haawda, thanks for the nice package! Just a minor glitch in the PKGBUILD, the Octave version at the end of the /usr/lib/octave path is missing in /etc/ld.so.conf.d/octave.conf. Note that _appver is only defined locally in the pkgver() function, so you need to repeat that definition in the package() function. Hello, I have one request for you: Could you please stop updating the package with the latest existing commit? I mean, since the PKGBUILD is working flawlessly and always fetching the latest commit, there is no actual reason to update the package. It'd be great if you could update the package when a fix on PKGBUILD should be added other than just the latest commit hash. Thanks

wiki.octave.org lists llvm as make requirement, but not listed in PKGBUILD. Is it needed?

Updated, the new PKGBUILD was heavily rewritten and works for me.

The PKGBUILD did not work for me, too, since yesterday. Please try, if the moc related variables in the configure line are the culprit, by removing them. But I have also other issues. I hope to fix the soon.
