Same issue. That’s exactly why I decide to move away from Manjaro and switch to a pure Arch installation. I get tired of the constant delay between Manjaro and Arch, which often causes issues with many packages and dependencies on Manjaro. :) I’m switching over.

Well, yes... A problem with Manjaro then - works just fine on Arch.

Guess you need to update your system before you can update this AUR package...

This would have been incredibly stupid of me if it were true. The real reason is libxml2-legacy hasn't reached the stable branch of Manjaro. omnissa-horizon-client is broken on the Manjaro distro.

Version 2503-3 doesn't install, says [...]

The package libxml2-legacy is in official repositories. Guess you need to update your system before you can update this AUR package...

No, wayland is not supported. You can run on XWayland and it works, but clipboard integration doesn't work nicely.

beria-pl commented on 2025-02-25 12:32 (UTC)

Does this package support wayland?

You are correct, removed them and it still works. So the only symlink still necessary is ln -s /usr/lib/pkcs11/opensc-pkcs11.so /usr/lib/omnissa/horizon/pkcs11/libopenscpkcs11.so

Oh, just removing the libraries instead of linking should do the trick as well, no?
