Upstream has not seen any updates forever, and now this package does not build against recent versions of gcc. It should not be used. Users are urged to migrate to pcloudcc-lneely.

@jean-michel Use github instead and change core2 to arm7 in the Makefile.
@coxackie Now it shows the following:

$ pcloudcc -u <email> -p
pCloud console client v.2.0.1
Please, enter password
Down: Everything Downloaded| Up: Everything Uploaded, status is CONNECTING
Down: Everything Downloaded| Up: Everything Uploaded, status is Unrecognized status

I use 2FA, maybe this is the reason?

Now, unfortunately, the PKGBUILD failed on Pi 4/400.

It's a problem around the -mtune gcc option. During the construction, I've got on Pi 400: gcc ....... -mtune=core2...... core2 is not one of the valid values of aarch64.

I investigate more...

@vlas upstream finally updated the repo - can you now build the package again and check if the problem resolves?

coxackie commented on 2021-11-19 09:33 (UTC)

@jean-michel thanks a lot for the info - I will update the PKGBUILD in the next iteration with the 'aarch64' target.

jean-michel commented on 2021-06-02 17:56 (UTC)

Successfully built on Raspberry Pi 4/400, by adding an extra 'aarch64' target to the 'arch' variable of the build file.

pcloudcc -u login@email.com -p -s : OK. pcloudcc -u login@email.com -d : OK.

Hangs forever on "status is CONNECTING" after "pcloudcc -u login@email.com -p -s". Tech support doesn't want to help.

@MountainX @Scimmia thanks a lot - systemd was added as a makedepend, to be technically correct.

Scimmia commented on 2020-10-21 22:44 (UTC)

base-devel is the only thing that can be assumed at build time. The official tools Arch uses for all packages in the repos creates a chroot with only base-devel, not base.

@coxackie The missing libudev.h error during build is happening for me and the other person when building with extra-x86_64-build. That's an official Arch tool. I believe that if your package won't build with that tool, then there is a problem with the package (e.g., PKGBUILD or install script). IMO you should be building your package with extra-x86_64-build for your own testing.

Also, I'm not the right person to debate with or even to give you expert feedback. I can test. But Scimmia and the others who commented in the BBS thread could offer reliable comments.
