This is not so nice

check package with namcap:

powershell W: File (usr/lib/powershell/linux-x64/libhostpolicy.so) has the world writable bit set. powershell W: File (usr/lib/powershell/linux-x64/libhostfxr.so) has the world writable bit set. powershell W: File (usr/lib/powershell/linux-x64/Modules/PSDesiredStateConfiguration/PSDesiredStateConfiguration.psm1) has the world writable bit set.

@jabdr Those modules are included in binary releases but are not part of regular upstream Powershell. I think it would make more sense to make another package for OneGet.

jabdr commented on 2017-11-27 10:10 (UTC)

Can you please add the Modules PackageManagement, PowerShellGet and Microsoft.PowerShell.Archive to the default installation? They are part of the powershell-bin package, but not powershell.

@kylesferrazza Yes, from the powershell-bin, posted on the wrong package, sorry about that

@kaismh I'm assuming that error came from powershell-bin. I just pushed a fix, please try again.

kaismh commented on 2017-10-27 18:41 (UTC)

I am getting the following error when trying to update to the latest, chmod: cannot operate on dangling symlink 'usr/bin/pwsh' Any clue how to fix it?

kylesferrazza commented on 2017-10-26 18:01 (UTC)

Note that the binary is now called "pwsh"

kaismh commented on 2017-10-24 07:01 (UTC)

@kylesferrazza Yes it does

@kaismh Does the binary version of powershell come with PowerShellGet built-in?
