Thanks for getting this up so quickly guys. A small request - it would be useful if this was also installed as a desktop application, similarly to how it's done for signal.

You guys are awesome.

Thank you guys, to put this up so fast. I'm also a Proton Unlimited user.

@alphazo: Done.

@yochananmarqos please add me back as co-maintainer ;)

@alphazo: Just FYI, every Electron application has very similar dependencies.

@alphazo: Sorry about the initial misunderstanding. Shall I add you as a Co-Maintainer again then?

alphazo commented on 2024-03-14 22:33 (UTC)

@yochananmarqos Since your package looked better, I thought you wanted to maintain it. I have a Proton premium account, so I'll be happy to take over the maintenance of the package you kindly put together.

By dirty hack I was referring to my PKGBUILD that didn't have proper dependencies for example and also naming as you noted. I used the exact same package from the Proton website without any modification or hack.

@alphazo: What is a "dirty hack"? Why are you referring to the package release that I'm sure we both saw today on Proton's blog and/or OMG!Ubuntu today in the past tense?

Why didn't you properly submit a useful PKGBUILD with a proper name to begin with?
