the package redshift-wlr-gamma-control-git works for me

Ditto, same error here as well!

@Stunkymonkey I'm getting the same error, i.e.

$ redshift -m wayland
Waiting for initial location to become available...
Location: xx.xx N, xx.xx E
Data too big for buffer (6164 > 4096).
Error sending request: Argument list too long

thx, pkgconf is truly in base-devel, I am stupid

jakebailey commented on 2019-07-16 16:58 (UTC)

No, pkgconf is in base-devel, which no AUR packages need to explicitly depend on.

Stunkymonkey commented on 2019-07-15 19:57 (UTC)

since today i receive the following error

$ redshift -m wayland
Waiting for initial location to become available...
Location: 48.xx N, 9.xx E
Data too big for buffer (6164 > 4096).
Error sending request: Argument list too long
Aborted (core dumped)

not sure if this is wayland related

@Spleeno you would need to ask the author of the patch; I think he's available on IRC channel for sway.

I just need different color temperatures on one screen so my old x11 redshift config ended with: [randr] crtc=0

Is there any way to target outputs on this version?
