By the way, rtw88 is mostly okay for me these days. They fixed the freezing.

Is anyone else failing to compile under kernel 5.18.0-arch1-1 please?

I got this error. Who can help me? Thank you!

IvarWithoutBones's fix has been merged into master. A reinstall should fix this module for 5.17.

Temporary fix that works today 2022-03-30, I used branch from this merge request https://github.com/tomaspinho/rtl8821ce/pull/267 in PKGBUILD's source. e.g.
source=("git+https://github.com/IvarWithoutBones/rtl8821ce.git#branch=linux-5_17")
Once the main repo is fixed and if the branch is deleted, this may not work.

Just got the default 5.17 kernel update, failed to compile on this one as well.
Here is the make.log for it, just in case there is any difference with the znver2 make.log https://pastebin.com/8Fqhx4zX

Here ya go. Guess I should have just included it in the previous post.

@firemage78, seems like a problem with compiling against 5.17 generally. The make.log would be useful, yes. Thanks!

This works on 5.16.16 default kernel with no issues. However, I use the znver2 kernel from the AUR and it fails to build on 5.17.0-AMD-znver2. I can dump the make.log on pastebin if you want it.
