IPv6 branch is merged into master branch in Oct, but no new tag after 0.9.6. I take this as newer release is not completed yet, so I'd prefer to keep this for a more while and let's see what the next release will be like.

rtorrent seems already merged ipv6 branch

The problem is that ipv6 branch didn't pulled up with master, so it stays on 0.13.4. My ipv6.patch included in the package is generated by git diff with master and the ipv6 branch, with some manually cleanup, though. I like the c++11 flag in your build configuration, will merge in next build :P I'm using this package by configuring the .rtorrent.rc with "bind = ipv4.address" and it listens for both v4/v6 addresses on the machine. I don't feel the IPv6 feature is really completed here...

IPv6 does not work for me too.

AstroProfundis commented on 2015-09-28 01:21 (UTC)

Ah, this may because I didn't patch libtorrent... I'll try that later.

As far as I have tested, the IPv6 doesn't seem to work for me either, I'm afraid the upstream patch is somehow broken or useless... I'll continue keep an eye on this, though.

not sure, i may dig on it but this may take few more days, as i'm quite busy now...

The 0.9.6-1 update is much appreciated. It built and does seem to run on 'armv7h' (archlinuxarm). From a glance, however, all peers are IPv4, even on torrents with a lot of peers. Does the IPv6 support need to be enabled somehow? Like, a setting in configuration file.
