@UbiquitousPhoton: I don't know why it works, but I can
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/sabnzbd-desktop.git
even though there is no aur package. I had it local still and zipped it up, then thought... why not push it, but it wouldn't push. So I tried cloning it w/ ssh and it worked. Then w/ https and it also worked.UbiquitousPhoton commented on 2024-10-26 17:16 (UTC)
Don't suppose you (or anyone else) has a copy of the sabnzbd-desktop package files. I would have volunteered to maintain it if I had realised...

I think we need python-sabctools upgraded to 8.2.0 - getting a gripe when starting sabnzbd

Currently receiving ModuleNotFoundError:

...and likewise:-> No AUR package found for python-apprise
apprise was installed with the update:
extra/apprise 1.7.6-1 (1.2 MiB 6.5 MiB) (Installed)
I also rebuilt
python-sabctools
andpython-sabyenc3
just in case...aur/python-sabctools 8.1.0-2 (+1 0.87) (Installed) aur/python-sabyenc3 5.4.4-2 (+3 0.87) (Installed)

Arch updated Python to 3.12, you need to re-build/re-install python-sabyenc3 and python-sabctools!
Using
paru
:@hoban, thanks for reminding me to post about this!

If anyone is seeing issues again related to the latest version of this package and python-sabctools, I was able to work around it by downloading the tarball for python-sabctools and building/installing it locally. https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/snapshot/python-sabctools.tar.gz I used
makepkg -scir
in the directory created by extracting that tarball in order to build & install it.fryfrog commented on 2024-04-07 16:48 (UTC)
I moved it to another package and disowned it, I guess no one wanted to maintain it and it got removed.

What happened to the old .desktop file that was in this package?
