Sorry, my ArchLinux laptop has deceased. I will set up a new system soon. Meanwhile, I can assign a co-maintainer, if anyone volunteers.

Hmm that's odd. If I start smartgit it doesnt crash but the updater starts and fails. After that I have to start smartgit again and it works.

Anyway is this package still maintained?

@mms Thanks for PKGBUILD, but for me, smartgit kept crashing even without updates/ folder : /

Smartgit kept crashing for me after cancelling smartgit's updater. If you want to update it manually, feel free to use this PKGBUILD file.

You may need to delete updater and updates from .smartgit.

@alyst there's nothing to do except to remove the install= line in the PKGBUILD if you don't need it for anything else.
