Mozilla's mach build system has some python dependencies, which version constraints may be in conflict with packages installed in your system, so I recommend building in a clean chroot.

Thunderbird 111 Beta 1, systemd-oomd killed the compilation on my box with 8GB of ram but got help from pulec in the #archlinux-aur channel on Libera and it compiled and worked on his box with 32GB ram
