This package is a git version. So the version you see here is the version that was released when i upload the pkgbuild. With git packages the version is taken from git server so you have always the last version also if the PKGBUILD stored on aur is at an old version.

It says the version is: 0.12.33.754918-2 But it builds: 0.12.1.42.001803-1 why?

The package is not out-of-date, the pkgver not have the v letter please stop to flag it out-of-date. @berbae: the pkgver with or whitout rc is the same because its a git package, if you want a stable release you dont use the git package but can build a tint2-dev that point to rc as commented in old system.

pkgver without the v letter: git describe --long | sed 's/^v//;s/\([^-]*-g\)/r\1/;s/-/./g'

You chose now to remove all the letters in pkgver; but if there is a rc tagged release, you don't want to remove the 'rc' part of the release. I was speaking to remove only the initial v letter, not the other letters.

pkgver should be '0.12...' without the v letter.

Update version. Thanks to fafryd for tint2-git.install The patch is not usefull so i don't added it the error alway is in. I have removed !libtool that was relative to the old version of tint2-svn.

please, can you do a little version bump? as of today, git revision is 0.12.r18.g57b878d-1 and with any checker will result lower than version of your package. thanks in advance.
