Thank you ! Also, I recently realized that the icon from the website is available in SVG format on Github: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Starlink/starjava/master/topcat/src/docs/tclogo.svg. I'm mentioning it here just in case you are interested in updating the packaged one. I'm currently using this as my topcat desktop icon and it works well.

It seems not possible to have an HTTP link for a specific version so I used the generic link but this will break when a new version is released.

Hi, I get an error when I try to install via FTP. The FTP connection is refused:

curl: (7) Failed to connect to andromeda.star.bris.ac.uk port 21 after 118 ms: Connection refused
==> ERROR: Failure while downloading ftp://andromeda.star.bris.ac.uk/pub/star/topcat/v4.8-1/topcat-full.jar
    Aborting...

Replacing the FTP link by the http link worked fine as a temporary workaround. I'm also unable to connect to the ftp archive with ftp or FileZilla (I get ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server).

Version 4.3-3 released 10 June 2016. It's a good idea to keep this package up-to-date. By the way, the icon tc3.gif doesn't work.

SoG image viewer does not work, even though java-jai-imageio is installed.
