Note for users: The administration is updating the software several times a year without changing the upstream URL nor providing any way to be notified about this. If the package fails to build, let me know by flagging this package as "out-of-date", I'll do the necessary to update it.

As usual, if the package installation doesn't work, flag it "out of date" and I'll do the rest as quickly as possible.

Si le paquet ne veut pas s'installer, il suffit, comme d'habitude, de le marquer comme périmé et je ferai le reste.

Okay, I'll adopt the package and will start updating it soon. I asked the developers to switch from the old SUN JPEG API to the new ImageIO one, which they should have done since Java 7, at the very least.

Et pour les francophones : je m'en occupe désormais :) J'ai envoyé un message aux développeurs afin de pouvoir se débarrasser de la nécessité de JDK8, qui est bien chiante maintenant. Ils utilisent l'ancienne API Jpeg que SUN fournissait, et il est grand temps qu'ils la mettent à jour.

VSTax 2018 depends on an Oracle-specific feature of Java for printing and sending the form, I noticed this today while trying to submit mine. It should be fixed with the latest version.

Also I will move from Valais next month, so I will not need this software any longer. I orphan this package so anybody interested can take over.

Du moment que Manjaro monte en puissance, je trouverais sympa que l'Etat du Valais signale dans leur page d'aide "linux" qu'existe un paquet dans AUR pour utiliser leur logiciel VSTax. Car il n'est pas facile de deviner qu'il s'y trouve !

Merci pour le commentaire, ça fait plaisir de voir que c'est utile à quelqu'un d'autre qu'à moi. Si jamais l'état du valais met à jour le programme de temps en temps sans fournir de numéro de version ni de moyen d'être alerté de ces changements. Dans ces cas, la compilation du package échoue pour ceux qui voudraient installer le logiciel, il suffit de marquer ce package comme "out-of-date" et je ferais le nécessaire.
