Hello everyone,

@Fanch, @audeoudh, can you please change PKGBUILD to depend on "php-interpreter" instead of "php"?

It would allow to use php-legacy packages instead of php.

From ArchWiki: "Due to application software that cannot use the latest PHP version, you may install php-legacy alongside. That package provides the oldest still actively supported PHP branch and must be configured within the applications that require it. For detailed instruction, see Nextcloud#Migrating to php-legacy."

Thanks!

Thanks for the ping, @atomicfs.

Hey guys @Fanch @audeoudh, any of you still maintaining this package?

To fix deprecation warnings all over the place I replaced

$conf['show_php_errors'] = E_ALL

$conf['show_php_errors'] = E_ALL & ~E_DEPRECATED & ~E_NOTICE & ~E_WARNING;

in

/usr/share/webapps/piwigo/include/config_default.inc.php

because it overwrites php.ini's default.

I am writing this here because the Piwigo-Forum's solution of changing it in

/usr/share/webapps/piwigo/local/config/.config.inc.php

did not work because the file did not exist. Even after creating the file which was not present in my install and adding the line the warnings remained.

@neik There is many ways. Here is one, using nginx & php-fpm:

Install these packages (they are optional dependencies) pacman -S --needed nginx php-fpm.

Adapt nginx conf', from /etc/nginx/sites-available/piwigo.conf.example (look for TODO); be sure to include it from /etc/nginx/nginx.conf. systemctl start nginx.

Uncomment ";extension=mysqli" from /etc/php/php.ini; systemctl start php-fpm.

Then, open the website in your browser and follow Piwigo's own documentation.

It seems, that I am to stupid to get piwigo to run. After the installation, what do I have to do for a running piwigo? Is there any kind of config guide for this AUR Package?

Many thanks

@StefanT they are correct from here. Can you retry downloading it?

$ rm piwigo.zip; makepkg -g […] sha256sums=('bfecdd743c62cdb4e1936662178d019af264ea763d26c8c832da836fbe09652d' […]

The checksum of piwigo.zip (the first in the list) has changed to 21dee6e361be671355627d9241e972458586e6077110080d5d127e8fe435c01b

@gyurman Nothing similar here. I updated to download link to point to the true version, instead of the "latest" available version. Please retry and provide more debugging information.
