Anyone who meet the problem of launching wpspdf, please install the optional dependency libtiff5

If you have the "ERROR: One or more files failed the validity check!" problem, try cleaning your AUR cache first, and try again.

[ATTENTION] The new international version (11.1.0.9080) removed zh_CN support, login, and some other functions. If you still want full functions, or you want aarch64 support, you may need the Chinese version from https://linux.wps.cn here: https://aur.archlinux.org/pkgbase/wps-office-cn

I split the /usr/share/mime/packages/wps-office-*.xml files to the wps-office-mime package to avoid mime issues. If you still want the mime files provided by wps-office itself, you can install the new mime package.

There is no official 32-bit package for version 11.1.0.8722, so I drop the support for i686 arch. For archlinux32 users you can create another wps-office package for 32-bit system yourself.

When you shut down wps-office, the wpsoffice process may still exist. You can do sudo chmod -x /usr/lib/office6/wpsoffice to fix it. But this might bring you problem with signing in.

About the software issues, you can go to the official feedback problem. I'm just a packager, I can not solve the software problem.

I was not able to install it from pacaur. Manual install worked..

wps-office needs ttf-wps-fonts to avoid a sluggish start. perhaps this should be included as well?

@Rainmaker, the problem is not with the icons. the cells in spreadsheet adapts the desktop theme. if the theme is light the cells are light too. if the theme is dark, the cells are dark too. the problem is with the cells, not icons. i don't have menu icon problems like yours, mine is fine. everything is fine except for the cells in spreadsheet.

@rockrij; if you want to "fix" that (though I'm pretty sure it's actually "works as designed"), open the icons in /usr/share/<GTK Theme>/apps/<size>/wps-office* in GIMP and remove the transparency. The images have (I think intentionally) transparent edges, which causes the color of the icon to adept to your desktop theme.

I'm using Xfce. When using a dark GTK theme, WPS Spreadsheet's cells become dark too. I searched a lot but I can't find a fix.

Installed this application. It works, but the icons in the system menu are not displayed. Looking at the files installed, the icons will only work with hicolor, Captiva or Hawaii icon theme, and not with the default Adwaita theme. Any reason why these icons are not installed for the Adwaita theme?

Ok I figured out what was wrong with installing with Pacaur, and got it patched upstream.
