bfq-v3r1 for .38, .39, 3.0 and 3.1 are ready This is the full list of the fixes and new features: - Fixed an important request-dispatch bug causing occasional IO hangs - Added a new mechanism to reduce the latency of low-bw async queues. This should reduce the latency of also the sync queues synchronized with the above async queues. - Fixed a minor bug in iocontext locking (port of commits 9b50902 and 3181faa from CFQ).

I bumped to allow a clean update for repo users while I combined some packages. AUR users have no reason to update.

Interesting... date of 15-Jun-2010? If this affects 3.1 you should open a flyspray for the official kernel.

I was talking about this patch to fix a problem on monitor mode. It's still present on linux 3.1 this is the link for the patch: http://patches.aircrack-ng.org/channel-negative-one-maxim.patch thanks in advance

Update to v3.1.0 Note that this release does NOT have the BFQ I/O scheduler available since Paolo has yet to release patches for the 3.1 tree. If someone sees the BFQ release for 3.1 before I do, please flag out-of-date and I will get the notification email and update. Note that all relevant patches/fixes from the official ARCH package release -3 are indeed applied here. Remember that the pkgver of this package and the official packages aren't intended to be in sync.

Think I managed to patch ck's ck1 patchset to work with 3.1 but I am reluctant to upload it here since it would be considered VERY speculative. Anyone game to try it out and report back?
