I tryed what you said but this is the error: adplug-xmms.plugin.o: In function `InputPlugin::read_tag(char const*, VFSFile&, Tuple*, Index<char>*)': adplug-xmms.cc:(.text._ZN11InputPlugin8read_tagEPKcR7VFSFileP5TupleP5IndexIcE[_ZN11InputPlugin8read_tagEPKcR7VFSFileP5TupleP5IndexIcE]+0x1): undefined reference to `InputPlugin::default_read_tag(char const*, VFSFile&, Tuple*, Index<char>*)' collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status Failed to link adplug.so! make[5]: *** [../../buildsys.mk:267: adplug.so] Error 1 make[4]: *** [../../buildsys.mk:118: all] Error 2 make[3]: *** [../buildsys.mk:123: adplug] Error 2 make[2]: *** [../buildsys.mk:116: all] Error 2 make[1]: *** [buildsys.mk:123: src] Error 2 make: *** [buildsys.mk:116: all] Error 2 ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Don't copy the complete build function, only the configure command with parameters. If it still does not work, post the error message. But prepend "LC_ALL=C" before yaourt to get English output.

I modified the package but for some reason didn't work, This new package don't have an option to disable adplug plugin, that cause me a problem. But i don't know why acn you install the package ok and I don't. y try with this build() and not work: build() { cd "$srcdir/$pkgname-$pkgver" ./configure \ --prefix=/usr \ --enable-amidiplug \ --disable-adplug make } it's rare that the player packages install but the plugins don't

Take a look on the official PKGBUILD. Does your build() function look similar? https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/tree/trunk/PKGBUILD?h=packages/audacious-plugins

yes I tryed that but don't work says me: configure: WARNING: unrecognized options: --disable-adplug and adplug tries to compile anyway

Radioactiveman commented on 2016-10-13 22:03 (UTC)

You could disable the compilation of the AdPlug plugin as a workaround. Add --disable-adplug after ./configure --prefix=/usr in the PKGBUILD.

yes it's audacious-gtk3 installed installs fine, but the plugins gives that error. I do gcc -v and the answer is: COLLECT_GCC=gcc COLLECT_LTO_WRAPPER=/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-pc-linux-gnu/6.2.1/lto-wrapper Objetivo: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu Configurado con: /build/gcc-multilib/src/gcc/configure --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib --libexecdir=/usr/lib --mandir=/usr/share/man --infodir=/usr/share/info --with-bugurl=https://bugs.archlinux.org/ --enable-languages=c,c++,ada,fortran,go,lto,objc,obj-c++ --enable-shared --enable-threads=posix --enable-libmpx --with-system-zlib --with-isl --enable-__cxa_atexit --disable-libunwind-exceptions --enable-clocale=gnu --disable-libstdcxx-pch --disable-libssp --enable-gnu-unique-object --enable-linker-build-id --enable-lto --enable-plugin --enable-install-libiberty --with-linker-hash-style=gnu --enable-gnu-indirect-function --enable-multilib --disable-werror --enable-checking=release Modelo de hilos: posix gcc versión 6.2.1 20160830 (GCC) I think it's my arch that uses testing packages too and for that not working

Works fine here. Is audacious-gtk3 installed? Which compiler and version do you use?
