Now
electron7
is in community repo: https://www.archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/electron7/ So perhaps the dependency can be changed intoelectron7
rather than hard-codedelectron7-bin

@Serial that looks like a local networking issue or perhaps upstream issue with NPM, are you able to retry that build? I've just rebuilt it successfully from source.

I'm having the same problem as @LinuxIsBest, @romax, and @Serial, with the same logs as @romax. I tried rebuilding the package. (Arch Linux)

I can confirm the bug @Serial reported on 2020-02-18 22:07
Unlike him/her I am using Arch Linux
Linux version 5.5.4-arch1-1 (linux@archlinux) (gcc version 9.2.1 20200130 (Arch Linux 9.2.1+20200130-2)) #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat, 15 Feb 2020 00:36:29 +0000

Visible in the log (ctrl+shift+i then 'console' tab) is an npm related error:

@Serial Manjaro has their own fully supported Etcher package, available here: https://gitlab.manjaro.org/packages/community/etcher. I recommend using that package, as this package is only intended for/supporting Arch Linux.
