@maintainer This package is not usable for over a month now nor is it up to date. Could you at least give a response or is this package orphaned?

Same White screen for me on a fresh install.

archnoon commented on 2021-08-23 15:04 (UTC)

I report the same... White screen and no messages when executing in the terminal.

Agree with Spixmaster, I can not get anything more than a white screen with the latest version.

The software is unusable. The window only displays a white screen with version 2:1.5.121-1.

Hey guys

Balena-etcher 2:1.5.120-1 in EndeavorOS flavor Gnome 40 does not show its image after it is opened, see application image link below. Any suggestion? Just wait for new update?

@chrisstm,

I assumed you come from Manjaro? If yes, you can use electron package from Arch temporarily, at least until version 12 of electron landed in Manjaro's repo.

$ cd /tmp # optional
$ wget --content-disposition 'https://archlinux.org/packages/community/x86_64/electron/download/'
$ sudo pacman -U electron*.zst

And proceed to install/update balena-etcher.
