@caleb Awesome, great work. Wish I'd added you weeks ago, sorry again!

Thanks @mischka. I'll work on these two first and then maybe approach the -git package owner about normalizing these three again.

I did a whole bunch of cleanup to the packaging, mostly to closer match current AUR packaging guidelines, but also to simply the scripting, make it easier to track changes to the files being injected by this package separate from the PKGBUILD, and generally clean things up. You might have a look at the git log to see what I did. Notably only the change to the wrapper script (moving the warning message from build()) bumped the pkgver, everything else in the installed should end up being identical, it just gets there in a safer way.

@caleb Great thanks! Except I forgot that I already orphaned the -git one a while ago for similar reasons so I can no longer add you to that one, ha. Thanks again!

@mischka Sure you can add me on those too.

Oh great apologies, I really wish I saw your offer to be co-maintainer earlier. I'd been on vacation and sort of unplugged for a while, apologies, and I don't use Brave myself any longer so I don't really prioritize updates. Sorry about that.

Thanks for offering, I've added you as a co-maintainer! Would you be willing to do the same for the other two brave packages?

Can we maybe get some co-maintainers on this package? The upstream project moves very fast and releases frequently and it seems there is frequently a week or two lag in this package. With very little changing between most releases, maybe with a few more people with push access we can keep it more up to date.

Edit: 2018-08-13 — I'm willing to help update as a co-maintainer if you add me.

Please do me a favour and do not ever use Brave.

It is a browser specifically designed to allow fingerprinting for advertisers and I am not even kidding. Go compare how much entropy stock Brave provides compared to stock Firefox.

Nothing destructive about it. It's a wiki, after all. Duh. Stop whining about the inevitable and update the build more often.

This build has a backdoor, I believe.
