It looks like you've disabled the text plugin. Some of the plugins are dependant on others. -ltext is referred to libtext.so which should be present under build/text.

Hello. I'm getting an error trying to build this: /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ltext /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -ltext First it threw me the error at the shift plugin, so I tried disabling that. Now it throws it to me at the scale plugin. Any fix?

The wallpaper plugin no longer works, and I get a realy ugly background (superposition of different windows that passed though a region). What changes were made from 0.9.5.0-1, so I can track it down? Thanks!

I wouldn't know, I use gtk-window-decorator with metacity theme support myself, apart from using Emerald in Ubuntu when gnome 3 broke gtk-window-decorator. The Emerald project has not been in active development for years and the Compiz team are not encouraging its continued use.

emerald++ no longer works after the last update. compiz-core++ should not remain in provides, since this is misleading. Any change emerald gets fixed/repackaged to we can have window decorations again? :)
