Thanks for the heads-up, should work again now!

I cannot start it any more, so I have tried to rebuild, but it stops at libdigikamgui

OK, updated the PKGBUILD again, builds fine in a clean chroot and also installs and opens. Please always let me know when there are problems, only then can I try and fix them.

digikam-git works fine. I get last digikam 5.8 that was built last sunday. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/digikam-git/ I customized PKGBUILD to avoid unneeded dependencies: depends=('marble-common' 'liblqr' 'kcalcore' 'qtav' 'lensfun' 'knotifyconfig' 'kfilemetadata' 'opencv' 'threadweaver')

Build OK, ma no images... I have deleted configuration, rebuild database and thumbnails, but same result

@Case_Of: you are my best bughunter :) Yes, seems I missed an update to extra/digikam that needed to be applied to this PKGBUILD as well. But now it builds again in my clean chroot!

This PKGBUILD is wonderful, but I hate to install all those make dependencies each time + the compile takes more than I would like to. Is it available in any (unofficial) repo?

@Case_Of: Please try again, the latest commit _should_ have fixed the build error you encountered.
