Hi,

etlegacy runs fine on aarch64, would you mind removing the exclusive x86_64 arch conditional?

Hey @jorgicio, would you kindly update the version to 2.83.2 ?

@jorgicio could we get a bump to 2.83.2, please :-)

Regarding the package update. Is it a good idea to replace the whole CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS instead of only what is needed? I assume that means any flags that people might have will be ignored now.

thanks vetu104! that worked out perfectly. Reinforce the offense!

@sneakomatic Launches for me if built with this makepkg.conf. Wp,-D_FORTIFY_SOURCE default was recently changed from 2 to 3 and it seemed to be the culprit. Gdb suggested that there is a buffer overflow in a string operation in the current release.

CFLAGS="-march=x86-64 -mtune=generic -O2 -pipe -fno-plt -fexceptions \
        -Wp,-D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -Wformat -Werror=format-security \
        -fstack-clash-protection -fcf-protection \
        -fno-omit-frame-pointer -mno-omit-leaf-frame-pointer"
CXXFLAGS="$CFLAGS -Wp,-D_GLIBCXX_ASSERTIONS"

Hi,

if I run the binary I end up with the following error:

*** buffer overflow detected ***: terminated

DOUBLE SIGNAL FAULT: Received signal 6, exiting...

[1] 253728 segmentation fault (core dumped) etl.x86_64

Is there anything i can check why this happens ?
