@duffydack It is. the problem seems to come from python 3.11, are you on 3.10 still?

@dmark: Builds fine here. Is your system updated?

dmark04 commented on 2023-05-10 13:53 (UTC)

Build fails on latest update with: ImportError: cannot import name '_gi' from partially initialized module 'gi' (most likely due to a circular import) (/usr/lib/python3.11/site-packages/gi/init.py)

version 0.4.1 is out: https://github.com/mjakeman/extension-manager/releases/tag/v0.4.1

Last comment from duffydack still confirmed. Flagging out of date.

Fails to compile (clean chroot with aurutils). "no module gi". Installed python-gobject in the chroot, now builds ok.

gtk4 depending on glib2. Try to reinstall these packages. Or please send full logs

Same problem, that file is part of glib2 but upstream is missing something in its meson files. I've opened an issue: https://github.com/mjakeman/extension-manager/issues/255

Anyone else affected? Can't seem to find any way of fixing it.

It is much more useful than the default Gnome Extension app.
