Is Falkon still alive? It looks promising, but the last stable release was in 2019 and it seems development seems really slowly?

I'm getting the following build fail on multiple machines:

/usr/bin/shiboken2: error while loading shared libraries: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

make[2]: *** [src/plugins/PyFalkon/CMakeFiles/PyFalkon_autogen.dir/build.make:146: src/plugins/PyFalkon/PyFalkon/pyfalkon_module_wrapper.cpp] Error 127

make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/Makefile2:1790: src/plugins/PyFalkon/CMakeFiles/PyFalkon_autogen.dir/all] Error 2

make: *** [Makefile:141: all] Error 2

==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().

Hello, if the python support is enabled in this package I assume that the line

sed -i 's/set(ENABLE_PYTHON_PLUGINS TRUE)//' CMakeLists.txt

is a relic and should be commented or removed in some way. The purpose is to disable python support, which should be enabled by now.

Have a nice day.

you should probably change the upstream url to as they ceased development on Qupzilla

Hai, could you modify the sources to git+ My sucky ISP recently moved my landliine to a new package & now plain svn:// & git:// clones timeout. All ports blocked. Thnx!

@jeancf you need to update pyside2 and shiboken

jeancf commented on 2018-05-14 19:48 build fails with this as the most significant event at the 49% mark:

qt.shiboken: (pyfalkon) Can't find typesystem_webenginecore.xml, current path: /tmp/pamac-build-jeancf/falkon-git/src/falkon/src/plugins/PyFalkon, typesystem paths: /usr/share/PySide2/typesystems
