@unknown78 Updated to use gstreamer, thanks for the tip!

unknown78 commented on 2020-07-30 07:01 (UTC)

maybe it makes sense to switch to GSTREAMER=ON instead of FFMPEG=ON

Updated to bring this package in-line with the community package:

  • using the proper tagged version
  • headers installed to /usr/include instead of /usr/include/FAudio

@Enverex Thanks, packages have been updated.

Looks like this may have broken again:

-- Installing: /var/tmp/makepkg/faudio-git/pkg/faudio-git/usr/lib64/cmake/FAudio/FAudio-targets.cmake

-- Installing: /var/tmp/makepkg/faudio-git/pkg/faudio-git/usr/lib64/cmake/FAudio/FAudio-targets-release.cmake

sed: can't read /var/tmp/makepkg/faudio-git/pkg/faudio-git/usr/lib/cmake/FAudio/FAudio-targets.cmake: No such file or directory

@ibrokemypie Should all be working now, thanks for the heads-up.

Looks like the CMake refactor has been merged. I'll update the PKGBUILDs asap.

ibrokemypie commented on 2018-12-09 09:19 (UTC)

any ideas why it wont build?

==> Starting pkgver()... ==> Starting build()... make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop. ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting...

@torbido I've uploaded faudio-wrappers-win32 and faudio-wrappers-win64 which should provide what you're looking for.

Sorry, this package is just libFAudio.so and its headers.

The developer has patches for wine and proton which build the FAudio/XAudio DLLs as part of wine: https://github.com/flibitijibibo/wine/

The AUR packages for faudio-git and lib32-faudio-git install everything to get picked up by the patched wine/proton configure script. My understanding is that this is the "proper" approach, where the drop-in DLLs were simply a temporary solution for initial testing.

That said, it could be useful to have a separate AUR package which builds and installs the drop-in DLLs, with setup_faudio* scripts like the DXVK packages.
