It runs very well with Mesa 9 on Ivy Bridge.
By the way, this should depend on lib32-libsm and lib32-gcc-libs too.

Any of you guys tested how well it goes along with your various Intels?

Could you consider adding PKGEXT=".pkg.tar" to the PKGBUILD?
The reason is there is no benefit in compressing a big package like this and wasting cpu cycles when it is going to be installed locally and not transferred over the internet.

helmuthdu that didn't help me. Can you tell us more about this? Maybe I need another locale or font. Where can I read about those switches?
helmuthdu commented on 2012-10-03 14:07 (UTC)
I have fixed the ugly font display with this command:
google-earth -fn -xos4-terminus-medium-r-normal--12-120-72-72-c-60-iso8859-9

Now I feel stupid. Thanks - multilib it is.
dgbaley27 commented on 2012-09-10 01:32 (UTC)
The 64-bit packages provided by google contain 32-bit binaries.
srl commented on 2012-09-10 01:28 (UTC)
There does seem to be a 64-bit deb available - should this package not use that instead when appropriate? (That would eliminate the need for [multilib].)

I will not update (for now) to the latest version 7.3.6.9326 because it crashes continuously for me.

Thanks, unfortunate timing then.
For reference, with Gnome shell / wayland I need to
