I had no problems with the following patches for jameica and hibiscus:
https://gist.github.com/c-mauderer/c88ea348d08bf0e268ef5a4c9b94fe95
(0001-Update-to-2.6.5.patch for jameica and 0001-Update-to-2.6.20.patch for hibiscus)
Edit: Just noted that my sentence was not entirely clear: The patches are for the AUR packages for jameica and hibiscus.

deleting ~/.swt changes nothing to this…

@fordprefect: What do you mean by 'breaks'? Jameica-nightly seems to work - at least for me (updated on 14.06.2017 when the blog-entry about the new version went online). A good start for me always was to delete the ~/.swt directory, though.

I am aware of the new release, but version bump breaks jameica for me. It might take a while, contributions welcome. No need to flag.

@all: I don't use jameica anymore and disowned it today.

Jameica crashes with latest jre-openjdk package (7.u79_2.5.5-1).
cambid commented on 2015-01-22 23:22 (UTC)
Sorry for late update. The new checksums are now included and the build works.
qs9rx commented on 2015-01-22 21:16 (UTC)
Update please, there are new zips. Building fails on checksum.

In case of unknown PGP key run
gpg --receive-keys 5A8ED9CFC0DB6C70
Due to widespread keyserver rot the use of
keys.openpgp.org
is encouraged, e.g. by addingkeyserver keys.openpgp.org
to your~/.gnupg/gpg.conf
