This Package is missing a build dependency on git. Without it the build fails in a clean chroot environment.

Updated to 5.0.18 and building from source now.

Currently it builds more than it needs to. Going to try to replace some dependencies by depending on the libraries directly (eg. liblinphone), however, that likely needs some experimentation.

Though that package might not be 100% proper, because it should depend on liblinphone and it doesn't.

@daniel7, you might be able to use the PKGBUILD of this package to return linphone-desktop back to properly building from latest source.

That package has a wrong name and is a duplicate of this one, so I've submitted a deletion request for it.

I would be glad if you could make this package up-to-date and source-based.

Thank you in advance.

I'll convert the PKGBUILD to building from source next week.

Hey @daniel7,

It is welcome that you maintain this package.

But it should be built from source.

There is already a binary repackage of the AppImage release:

linphone-desktop-appimage

@DAC324, I edited my fixed comment with the solution to your problem. This version works, it's likely that your compiler may have messed up with something. Check your makeflags.

@Megver83:

$ pacman -U https://www.parabola.nu/packages/pcr/x86_64/linphone-desktop/download/
At first, at least on my system, pacman requires root privileges for this operation. Hence,the command line should look like
$ sudo pacman -U https://www.parabola.nu/packages/pcr/x86_64/linphone-desktop/download/

Nevertheless, your package could not be installed:

Error: '/var/cache/pacman/pkg/linphone-desktop-4.2.2-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.xz': Invalid or damaged Package (PGP-Signature)

I had confirmed importing of the PGP key but to no avail. What am I supposed to do?
