Well it may not be the PKGBUILD's fault. No AUR kernel will compile for me. Disregard me.

I'm getting patching errors...
...
patching file tools/perf/util/cloexec.h
patching file tools/perf/util/symbol-elf.c
patching file tools/power/x86/turbostat/Makefile
patching file virt/kvm/arm/vgic.c
patching file virt/kvm/kvm_main.c
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in prepare().
Aborting...
Naturally, running makepkg --noprepare results in a healthy stream of errors.

Did you try for example xconfig?
thoffmeyer commented on 2015-05-19 02:17 (UTC)
I don't know if this is a menuconfig/nconfig glitch or to do with nVidia drivers, but I cannot for the life of me get menuconfig/nconfig working in fb or terminal without just massivly glitching out.. Not sure if anyone else has this problem just massive flickers..

BFS for 4.0 sometimes doesn't work properly.
Please don't use "BFS=yes".
