Okay, thanks for clearing that up, and I understand your decision. Also I have a remark on the latest kernel source. It seems aufs doesn't function on my system. I saw it is included in the kernel configuration. Greetings PsychoGame

Will BFS make a comeback? Probably not. The bugs in BFS are minor but noticeable. This biggest bug that's yet to be fixed is time keeping. This was documented heavily on the liquorix forums and lead me to choosing CFS over BFS with heavy configuration modifications. To answer your last question, just choose the zen-tune custom configuration, it will set rr_interval to 3 and change a few more defaults to improve performance.

I have a small question about bfs. Will BFS make a comeback as standard scheduler in the builds in the future? Are the bugs which made the switch from BFS to CFS still existing in the latest kernel releases? Also if I want to compile the Liquorix kernel myself with BFS, what configuration do you recommend for the lowest latency? Greetings PsychoGame

linux-lqx.install gets overwritten every time you build, so not really a problem. If you build end then check linux-lqx.install you'll see that it says 3.6.10(or whatever the current version). Reuploaded anyway.

After update to 3.10.6, the linux-lqx.install file still contains the 3.10.5 version..just a FYI

Sorry, configs have been updated. Thanks for catching that, must have resynced my configs on an incomplete master branch earlier last month.

config* files need to be updated. I get a lot of config related options during build time, which are not present in the respective config.* file.

Thanks, damentz! Nvidia works on 3.10 with https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit/packages.git/plain/trunk/nvidia-linux-3.10.patch?h=packages/nvidia Here's the PKGBUILD for 3.9.11 kernel: http://liquorix.herobo.com/linux-lqx/pkgsrc/3.9/linux-lqx-3.9.11-1.src.tar.gz

3.10 patch is out, but there's no proper support from nvidia and fglrx yet. Unless you guys have an easy work around, I'll recommend sticking to 3.9 until you can install an nvidia driver with sgfxi.
