!!! IMPORTANT NOTICE !!!

I will be deprecating this package upon the release of Linux 6.14rc1, as the only remaining patch for this series of laptops has been merged into Linux and is slated for release in 6.14rc1!

NPU has now been tested & works! https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/ASUS_Zenbook_UM5606#NPU

@VanKurt you might also need to do install/enable these services: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/ASUS_Zenbook_UM5606#Power_management

P.S. it's normal/expected behavior for linux-firmware-git to include amd-ucode-git :)

A reminder to please take discussions about these patches on other distros to an appropriate channel :)

@miffe: That's weird, since VirtualBox can't find the kernel headers.

miffe commented on 2011-09-26 10:57 (UTC)

@dcelasun: Since AUR doesn't support split packages the headers are included in the linux-mainline package.

dcelasun commented on 2011-09-26 10:28 (UTC)

I've just compiled this but it doesn't seem to create a linux-mainline-headers package. Any ideas?

@markino7200: There seems to be an issue with tarballs from github, they sometimes contain the incorrect version. The one in the PKGBUILD should be the correct one according to https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commits/v3.1-rc7

kernel checksum and upack path seem wrong in PKGBUILD? new checksum is '8d33f2d3cae613c49573be50d16aca7a' and unpack path is "$srcdir/torvalds-linux-4cf670b"
