Note that this is not a secure kernel. It has things disabled that mitigate security bugs in the processor (for example retpoline, spectre/meltdown mitigation etc.) and some things tuned here and there. Do not use this on servers or on machines where security is important.

It looks like not many people are using this and thus the binary packages are not going to be available anymore. This will need to be built from source.

Update: Because this kernel is insecure, untested and barely used, it won't be updated anymore. Use linux-nitrous instead.

@tam1m sure, I'll change that

Can we depend on initramfs instead of mkinitcpio directly? That way any tool providing initramfs can be used.

See https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/PKGBUILD?h=linux-xanmod#n209 for example

This package now includes the Wireguard module built into the kernel by default and thus there is no need to install one separately.

Please see the warning here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Kernel/Arch_Build_System#Modifying_the_PKGBUILD

Warning: nvidia-dkms does not seem to work with it – it will not compile and even if you apply patches to it there is a good chance that you won't reach the login screen. Please refrain from using 5.7, try patches or use nouveau until nvidia has published a working driver...

Other dkms modules will probably work. Problems with, for example, vboxhost have been fixed in 5.7.0-2.
