@pschichtel Some points are here. Install script should not be executed directly, it needs to be extracted. Headers should not go to ndi-sdk subdirectory, but should stay inside the include directory to avoid problems when building other programs. glibc is not needed because it's part of the base group, but it can be added afterall just to make namcap happy (which is not a requirement). I don't think it should provide libndi3. Manual download was needed when I firstly made this package because it seems that upstream was providing a temporary download link, but if the link is permanent I can change it in future updates. I have not yet checked about the avahi optdepends. And as I said, overall code was changed too much due to a complete PKGBUILD rewrite, and I do not see the need for taking a complete rewrite here.

In fact, I actually wrote the script from scratch and found your existing one afterwards. I tried to sync it with your script where changes would not be useful. The package does build, but it requires a manual download and it is definitely missing dependencies. namcap reported the glibc dependency (which I think is a valid point) and in hours of debugging I found the avahi dependency.
Could you go into detail about the changes you disagree with? (on the gist would be a better place I guess)

@pschichtel Sorry, but I do not agree with most of your proposed changes. Maybe I can change something in some small points at future updates. But actually, you made a complete rewrite of the PKGBUILD, which I think is not necessary here.
Besides, package is building and working fine. And "namcap compliance" should not considered as a standard in Arch packaging, as it many times give undesired/unneeded results.
